How can I get the OLD Yahoo home page back?

Question

A while ago, I rather foolishly clicked on the link to "try" the New Yahoo Home page. 
Sorry Yahoo, but IT STINKS. 
I finally discovered that all I had to do to get back to the much loved OLD Yahoo home page was to delete all my browser's cookies. Inconvenient (since I lost a load of cookies that I actually DID want), but well worth the effort!
I have just gone into Yahoo home page and to my dismay discover that I am once again on the new format page. 
Since I am fairly certain that I didn't select it again, I assume that now I have no alternative.
Can anyone either tell me how I can get back the old format home page, or suggest an alternative web page that has a good coverage of news and current affairs?

scroll all the way down the new homepage and you'll see a link that says "Return to Yahoo Classic" :)

If you want to return to the original homepage and Keep it, then clear the browser cache of cookies and temp files, go to internet options for this, THEN RESTART the computer, if you don't restart then it won't stay, then use this link.   http://www.yahoo.com   You can go to the bottom of the new page and click under About Yahoo, Return to the classic homepage, but it usually just goes back to the new homepage clicking there.

OMG. I did exactly the same thing and I HATE the new one. It took me 10 minutes to find the Answers button.
I tried clearing my browsing history but it didn't work.
