Have you also noticed the "English" in these illicit pill scams?

It's almost just like the "English" in the Nigerian bank scam e-mails. Why would anyone buy products from spammers who can't even be bothered to do quality control on their own advertising anyway? Are people so self-loathing and desperate for a quick fix?

Two good reasons for the butchering of a language:

The companies are run by non-English speakers. Yes, people who can't yet grasp our language are making ridiculous amounts of money selling us fake products.. interesting.

    or the more common reason:

Social blending. See, for your average internet browsing idiot, a well structured paragraph with proper grammar is going to stand out to them as if it were written in Shakespearian English. Like an above poster said, their English is no worse than the majority of the users on this site, your average idiot will read a post like this and assume they're receiving actual advice from a fellow internet idiot.

"dis guy nos wut hes talking bout. And theirs so many sying the same hw can they be rong?"

It might sound stupid because that strategy has no effect on people with some common sense, but their target market isn't those who have much common sense. We would identify a scam no matter what language they put it in.

Most of the people don't actually understand the concept of spam bots, despite numerous explanations that the 'people' posting these ads are simply computer programs sweeping the site for key words in questions, there's still hundreds of people that reply to bots, try to talk to them and worst of all; follow their advice to use their product.

I don't think it's fair that just because people are lacking education they should be exploited like this - but that's just life. lol. Companies see a weakness, people desperate to achieve something they don't know how to start on, and the companies point them in the wrong direction and steal their wallets.

Agree - it is ridiculous - we are all fed up with these spammers and their dodgy links to dodgy websites, and some of the wording doesn't make sense.

If everyone would report them maybe they would give up and go away if it wasn't cost effective. I really don't know why anyone would want to buy from these sites.

The English is no worse, than that used by a large number of the "users" on this site.
