What was Jesus' favorite book of the Bible?
I know that it's anachronistic to use the term "Bible". Still which scroll or book do you think most influenced Him / touched Him? Which did He read most or refer to or quote most often?
Alright let me clarify a bit. I'm well aware that the "Bible" did not exist in Jesus' time. I used the word because many don't understand Tanakh / Torah / Pentateuch / Septuagint, etc. Tanakh would probably be the most correct term as Torah (teaching) refers only to the earlier scriptures, primarily the first five books a does the word Pentateuch. All that out of the way, When I read the New Testament I see many references by Jesus to these ancient writings. I get my own sense that He tended to quote one source more than another. I've been told that He used one translation or another. I'm just trying to see if you've noticed anything similar or perhaps I'm letting my personal feelings lead me astray.

Well clearly He thought Isaiah had important things to share since He quoted them often..... (without an actual BIBLE obviously)

He quoted from Noah and Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the twelve tribes in Genesis. Moses from his four books. David from Psalms, 1 Kings and 1 Chronicles, from Isaiah, Jonah, Jeremaih and Daniel. Isaiah, Jesus and Paul felt the people had a difficult time understanding what they were saying, as if they had eyes and could not see, and ears but did not hear.

Jesus did not need to be influenced, but he once read from the scroll of Isaiah.
