  • Zachary Founding Fathers rebuttal and t not being Christian?

The Founding Fathers of this country were virtually all Christians. While a few can be found to have written letters expressing opinions on certain hypocracies of the Church or the dangers of religious influences they still consider themselves very religious men who recognize that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Below is a list every single founding father and their religious affiliation. It is the atheists that have invented the "Deist Lie".

    Revelation 22:15

But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

  • I need some Dune Buggy advice.?

    Im considering getting a dune buggy for my family. Im looking to avoid home made "cheesy" dune buggies. I want to know what to look for in seeking out a buggy that has a solid engine/tranny/clutch combo that is recognized as that is necessary for a legit buggy. I need decent handling on the street and off road with enough suspension to keep from beating me to death. I would like to know what to avoid as well as what I need to look for. Im not really looking for a high performance machine or a racer. Just a good solid overall buggy. Would 4,000-5,000 dollars put in something like that? I dont know what questions to ask really;

    Wheel base?

    1600 cc?

    Clutch?

    Tranny?

    Seat belt and seat arrangement?

    Seats?

    Fuel tank material?

    Etc. thank you so much,

    Joe

  • Why Parables?

A question for fellow Christians to chew on.

Why did Jesus speak in parables? This should be interesting.

  • To fellow Christians.?

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, when asked a Christian question why do you offer opinions born of pop cultures witticisms and not from scripture? Scripture is the sole source concerning itself and not human experiences which change with the wind.

Are you a Christian that is "turned off" by scripture? Is scripture just something that someone made up to you?

    God bless you

  • Mormon ruling.?

Who else agrees with the ruling against Child Protective Services in Texas concerning the 400 children?

Its easy for lay people to have opinions but one thing that they never consider is that the state of Texas has a duty to apply the law equetably across the entire populace of Texas. The CPS ignores 10,000s of far worse cases in low income depressed areas that are well known to them and then apply a much different standard on those Mormons. In my opinion the reason that the CPS acted as they did was that in this case the peoples involved were interesting and white along with getting in on their 15 minutes of fame and titillation.

  • Seperation Church/State.?

Has there ever been a more ridiculous statement made than this.?

"""The fact that the founding fathers prayed at school graduations and advocated such just goes to show you that the founding fathers didn't understand the constitution."""

    Justice Souter; Liberal

Concerning the legal decision barring prayers at graduations.

  • Atheists opinions?

Whether God is real or not lets put aside for the moment. One thing that is factual is the existence of Jewish and Christian texts that came into existence at some point for some reason. Flawed or not, True or not or man made myth or not how do you as an atheist place a time upon these texts first appearance and how they compare to other ancient texts in quality, quantity and validity?

Few if any believe in the Egyptian Pharaohs religion but no one disputes the writings and glyphs on walls etc. False religion witha tangible beginning and history.

So, how do you as an atheist place a time upon these texts first appearance and how they compare to other ancient texts in quality, quantity and validity?

  • People in Heaven?

I just asked the question of "are there people in Heaven right now?". Only a couple respondents cited scripture, which was disappointing. Let me ask another way. Can someone provide an example of someone being in Heaven with God(aside from Jesus). Before you answer you have to remember that there are 3 Heavens as told of in the Bible.
