In news reporting of "cash for clunkers" was there some legal requirement to use the term gas guzzler?

Without fail, in every news report of the recently ended program if the talking head uttered one term, the other would also be used within a few seconds. Is this a policy that came down from above, or do they all just mindlessly parrot each other, or what?

Basically, I agree with the point that they are "parroting" each other. -Kinda just like how sheep go, "bbbaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh"!!!!

If the Shepard says, "gas guzzler", so do the sheep.

Once again I agree with Brew, there are very, very, many sheep that follow Shepard blindly. Idiots! There were so many good cars that went to that that low income families could have bought! Hell, there aren't too many people in the "middle class" that can afford a 12 pack of coke right now, much less a brand new car. All Cash for clunkers did was help the rich get richer, and keep the middle/lower classes down. Yes, they (CARS cronies) constantly parrot each other, however I also believe that they have run out of things to say, so they just keep rambling on about the same damn things... trying not to admit it was a massive blunder...

The Murcielago gets on average 10 MPG (combined) It rates 8 MPG for the city and 13 MPG for highway driving. By those ratings, the Murcielago IS a gas guzzler. That is obvious for just about anyone, left or right wing. Check the links for proof.
