Will Christians who accept Evolution go to Hell?

If not, then why the big fuss?

Update:

If so, then I guess believing in Evolution should be listed as one of those Unforgiveable Sins, you know one that Jesus won't forgive you for, even though you have taken him as our personal saviour. Doesn't that make it worse than murder?

    It's protectionism.

Prior to the theory of evolution and old earth theory, most christian church's taught creationism and young earth. So, when these opposing theories came up the church had to decide between saying, "we'ree wrong, evolution is true, and genesis is allegory" or protect their supreme authority on knowledge by saying "evolutionists are going to hell and are being tricked by the devil."

Many educated Christians went with the first.

The only thing that "sends" people to hell is the rejection of Jesus, not believing that His death was sufficient to cover sins, and that He is the only way to heaven.

The big fuss is that we hold God's Word, the Bible, to be true, and we will stand on that truth whether it is about creation, heaven, how to live your life, whatever...

    It is a slippery slope.

If as a Christian you embrace those things contrary to sound doctrine and allow man to control what you believe, especially when it comes to the very first book in the Bible, then it leaves the door open ( so to speak) for other things to be questioned. Theistic evolution is an unsound position. A slippery slope.

Some Christians believe that if Evolution is true then it follows that there is no meaning or purpose to life and there is no promise of salvation and living forever.

That scares the you-know-what out of them.

    They are:

Romans 1: 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen

God has very clearly stated He CREATED the world. Touting evolution would then be changing the Glory of God into ...well monkey poo.

    AND THAT is a problem

It would be truly sad if people were condemned to hell for thinking.

It depends on how misinformed they are.
