Which is more impressive, the domesticated horse, or zebra?

My personal opinion is the domesticated horse because they can do much more than a zebra. Zebras are really amazing animals and they are very interesting to look at but they don't get trained to jump, do dressage and all those things the domestic horse does. For example horses are in the olympics and zebras arn't. Domesticated horses can do AMAZING things. :)

While zebras are kickass - the more impressive of the two(and probably most impressive equines) are the upper level horses that participate in Dressage, jumping, hunter/eq - they're beautiful and so athletic - it's impossible to get anywhere in the upper levels in any horse sport unless the horse loves it's job - it's amazing to see a grand prix horse zone in on a 5' fence - they're SO focused, enough to block out the hundreds of cameras going off, the crowd screaming, and the giant TV's broadcasting them around the arena haha.

littlemisswright, actually, zebras can be trained and tamed. They can even compete in lower level competition for fun.

Zebra but if it was a wild horse it would win hands down.

Horse! There is no comparison. They are totally different animals. I love horse. Zebras...not so much

Horse. I know the Zebra is wild and whatnot, but take away the stripes and all you have is a bad-tempered cresty pony.

The domesticated horse - over thousands of years they have helped people do amazing things while doing amazing things themselves. They somehow have power, grace, beauty, and compassion all packed into one. It's quite extraordinary. :3

Zebras - they have a true independent spirit that can't be tamed.
