Wouldn't normally ask, but cat names anyone?
Okay, if you've been following the post the last couple of days, you've seen that I am fostering a stray until either his owners can be found or we find him a good home.
I can't just keep calling him "big kitty", so I'm looking for ideas.
He's a HUGE black and white long hair, with a black smudge across his nose that kind of reminds me of Hitler's mustache. Sounds bad, but that's the best description I can come up with for it. He's got a great personality, cuddly, loving, lets me touch him all over, even his tummy and his injured paw. Very well behaved, but he does like to hop up on my kitchen counter to get to the window.
Any ideas? We're considering just actually calling him Hitler or Mein Fuher, but I don't really like the man at all, so I don't want to name a cat after him. Help me come up with something better to call him please.
No pics, sorry.
Love the Kitler, Groucho, and Hitler's Contradiction. Except I'd probably just call him Hitler for short, for that last one.
We'll see if he likes Kitler or Groucho more. Thanks for the help!

we had a cat named "Dog". It was pretty funny. He actually acted like a dog - fetched and everything. If you don't like this how about Kittler?

Actually if he has the mark then I think Hitler would be a funny/ great name, lol. You could always call him Hitler's Contradiction b/c his personality is the complete opposite. Or you could just call him Kitty. We had a cat called Kitty b/c she wouldn't come to any other name. Haha or BK for Big Kitty, lol. That sounds funny too.

I think yes. They at least learn the sounds of their names. I know that you are not suppose to name your pets anything that rhymes with "no," but my cat's name is Cinco and he knows his name for sure. He is a good little buddy. As for your cat, I think Kitty is a good name as far as teaching it. Linus doesn't really seem very catchy for a cat, but you never know.

Kitler has been around for awhile. I think it's hilarious and I think that if you don't point it out most people won't realize Kitler is for Kitty Hitler.
catsthatlooklikehitler.com - constantly refered to as kitlers =)

It depends on how it looks in you. For me, as long because it's not past your shoulders after that it would be ok but I prefer anything that doesn't go earlier the ears.

Have you heard of the book "The Dog called Kitty" well you should switch it around and make it "The Kitty called Dog" (funny). Or:
1). Toby or Sadie
2). Charlie or Sophie
3). Buddy or Daisy
4). Cody or Molly
Hope this helped! :D

What about Charlie after Charlie Chaplin. I'd rather associate his smudge face with Chaplin instead of Hitler.

Tux, Berlin, Milo, Koda, Henry, BoJangles, O'Reilly, Daily (like the daily newspaper because he's black & white), Guiness, Boomer

I would name him Groucho (Marx). He had a dark mustache, and the name wouldn't be as offensive as Hitler might be to some.
