Daughter crying at school! What's the best way to deal with this?

My daughter started 1st grade last week. She cries every morning saying she doesn't want to go, and will often cry during the day while she is in class. Last year in kindergarten, she stayed only until 11:15, and ofcourse now she stays until 2:40. When I ask her what she cries about, she says she misses me, and doesn't like having to do all the work. When she comes home, she happy and is excited to tell me all about the "fun" stuff she did that day!

Is this just a phase, should I just ignore it and let her work it out, or is this a sign of a bigger problem??

Help!!

I was a first grade teacher for years and I found that the biggest problem was the mothers. If you hover over her, act all anxious and worried and tell her you will come get her if she needs you, you are giving her fears that she can not handle school. Be positive with her, tell her she will have a great day, learn lots of things, have fun, make new friends, play games etc. and you will look forward to hearing all about it when she gets home. She will be fine and get over the separation anxiety soon.

that's extraordinarily ill. the college must be notified at present what those different females are doing and saying. i won't understand the way anyone could desire to be so merciless to others. the ladies that are doing this could desire to be removed from college, whether its in basic terms suspension, then make all of them do essay's on orphanages, foster baby classes, and persons that undertake older childrens. possibly that's going to coach a number of those little mean females some compassion. for my area i could like to knock the sheet out of them yet that's a criminal offense. permit your daughter understand how lots you like her, which you have already finished and do, and permit her additionally understand there are products of sheet interior the international no count the place you reside or flow so in basic terms ignore approximately them and instruct them incorrect.

If she's happy when she comes home, there's no problem. It's completely normal.
