RN or Dental Hygienist?

Nursing or Dental hygiene?

I have been studying dental for years now, I have also completed dental assisting courses, I was set to start the hygiene program at the local college BUT there is SUCH a long waiting list for it, that I am considering the nursing program, both offer an associates degree, nursing just doesn't have as long of a wait. I Love dental but can handle nursing as well...Just curious, IN YOUR OPINION WHICH CAREER SEEMS LIKE A BETTER CHOICE AND WHY?

Thank you :-)

You may want to check into the RN program. You may fin that it is REALLY hard to get into as well. Its very hard to get into where i live in Texas.

I think nursing is a REALLY broad field. You can work in several diffrent areas, Everyday is diffrent. You can do so much with your license. Plus it is VERY good money, and in super high demand. But Im a nursing student..I just got into the ADN program, so Im biased.

But stick with where your heart is at. Make a decision and stick with it no matter what, otherwise you will never be happy.
