Has R&S christians become somewhat like this?

Sometimes those who *think* they are doing Gods work are not..
Sometimes there are those who *think* they are spreading love but are not....
Sometimes there is more pity than disgust at those who do this...
Jesus did NOT speak harshly as much as He spoke with compassion and mercy....
I know the truth that is stated in the Word of God, that person you are quoting also knows, they just are not mature enough , spiritually, to have the heart of Christ nor the voice .... they will.... they will.... I pray they will..... go in peace.... God bless

But Christians have more unity on actually having premarital sex than on hardly any other religious issue.

I used to go to conservative churches that teach that abstinence crap, and I learned that the leaders of these churches actually crack jokes about 30 and 40 year-old virgins behind their backs. Now I just send my Christian friends to the site below which debunks the whole thing against premarital sex in the Bible. It covers same-sex lifestyles too.  I hope it helps you.

I think alot of what I see here can fit in this category.    But not all.

NOTE to Christian purity,  one day you are going to come down with a very big bump.    Take that beam out of your eye.  
  
Also get your facts straight,  Hitler and I believe a couple of others you listed were not atheists.

Too many so-called "Christians" don't follow the bible and water down their beliefs to fit in with atheists. 

This is why people lash out (usually with words) when someone does actually follow the bible. They are so brainwashed and consumed by secular society that they can't see that some people still are true believers in God.

well, I would suggest that their aren't too many true Christians, since if true Christians "never commit crimes" and 75% of the prison population in the USA are Christians...kind of throws the whole "kind and loving god" theory out the window, doesn't it?
