Why are all beef hotdogs not darker in color?  ?

They use sodium nitrate, which gives the meat a pink color. It's also the reason corned beef and pastrami are pink-ish.

Its all the parts of the cow that arent meat! So color varies

The same reason pork hot dogs aren't white.... Hot dogs are cured before they're packaged, which preserves them.

honestly if you really knew how hot dogs were made you would probably not eat them.. Its pretty discusting. I know someone who works in a meat processing factory...yuck!
