How can one protect themselves from the cold/flu this season?

It's supposed to be bad, this year, and I was wondering how one can prepare, and protect themselves from getting ill, or getting a severe illness.

You can start off by remembering to wash your hands thoroughly (as long as it takes to sing "Happy Birthday" twice or the ABCs) with hot, soapy water and to sneeze or cough into your sleeve or upper arm, or a tissue, instead of ones hands.

Also, stores have loads of germs. Take the advantage of using the soap when needed. Stores usually have those around certain ares, as do schools, malls, and other public places. Use a squirt or two on your way out of the dentist, and when you leave your house. It's also good for when you sneeze.

Avoid people who are sick. If it's contagious, don't touch. If it isn't then still, try not to breath in with them that much.

If you yourself gets sick, try as much as you can to aviod it, if you do, take care of yourself by drinking things high in Vitamin, like orange juice (I think it's Vitamin C) and water. Drink lots of other fluids, but maybe not things like Soda or Pepsi. Stay in bed and work to get better. You'll treat if faster.

Another thing-bring along extra tissues, baby wipes, and soap along when you travel. It'll hep.

    Hope I help!

wash your hands, alot. and avoid anyone who is sick. I take Purell in my purse so I can use it after going into stores. Also avoid touching your face.
