We're trying to have a baby with an October birthday...when do you think we should start trying?
Obviously, you can't control it down to the very date or anything, but if we had it all our way, we would like an October birthday...but at the very least, a fall birthday. We're going to start trying soon...what month do you think we should start?
We're pretty fertile people, so it shouldn't take long.
P.S. I sure hope this doesn't hurt the feelings of anyone who is having conception problems...and of course we'll be happy whenever our baby is born...so please don't get fussy at me. :)

in order to conceive in October you could have to conceive in January or and do it within that window of being fertile. You only have a 25% chance each month and only 3 in 10 women get pregnant on there first month of trying. If you want a baby in the fall months then try conceiving from December to April that way you would have a baby born anytime from September to January.

Lol this is funny bc my Fiance and I plan to start trying in January and DON'T want an October birthday. But I'd say... just FYI no matter how fertile u think u and ur bf are. Gt the physical and checked 1st. Bc I'm one of the most active.. healthy people and i have cysts that are blocking my fallopian tubes form releasing eggs. So ow i have to get surgery this month or next. I'd say.... Get the physicals for the both of you, when they come back all clear THAN go on ahead and start trying when ur ovulating when ur December period goes off. Which should be starting Jan... i'm not sure.... but yeah... THAN if not pregnant in dec. try again in Jan. Good luck :)

I conceived my daughter december 29th and got a baby girl on september 20th, she had to be induced so who knows how long it would have been but I would think in January like the middle or end should do it. Be warned that the summer being big and pg really sucked, I was soooo hot. Next time im going to try for a spring baby so im pregnant all winter, haha. But good luck, October holds lots of birthdays in my family, all of them are great people.

I hate to sound rude but this is kind of a ridiculous question. I thought my husband and I were very fertile, too! We are both young, healthy & capable of conceiving. Its just a matter of when its right & we have been trying for a few months now! Dont expect to conceive so easily! However, if you want your child to be born in October, February would most likely be the best time to try.

If you think you'll get preg the first month of trying, I'd try Feb. If you think it might take 2 or 3 months, start trying Dec or Jan. Good luck!

Hi I think you can fly up until either 34 or 36 weeks, but you could check with the airline you plan to travel with.. either way, if you fell pregnant now you would definintely be ok, given its May next week... good luck trying!

Jan 8th 2010, that way your EDD (estimated date delivery) aka Due Date would be RIGHT in the middle of Oct (the 15th), it gives you two weeks either way if the baby is a bit early or a bit late (38-42weeks).
