What do you believe is the requirement for your political ideology?

Conservatism and Liberalism.

For example. I'm Conservative because I believe I can understand how people behave and understand natural order of economics work (This doesn't apply to everyone). Like how Capitalism has a natural driving force to where people have to work to get out of poverty (I've watched some documentaries about China and it also appears they seem to get the desire to work and study to improve their way of life).

    Libertarian

I believe that all autonomous adults should be permited the greatest possible number of freedoms. In order for that to happen, the following rule must be respected: I let you **** your life up any way you wish to, but do not force me to bail you out when you are done. I maintain personal responsibility by focusing on my life and not obsessing over people's social liberties. You maintain personal responsibility when you hold yourself accountable to your failures and do not force yourself on my fiscal liberties.

Process Communication, a branch of Psychology, has discovered that about 1/3rd of Americans rely on evidence and logic as their primary decision making criteria. These people tend to be conservative -- the evidence is that capitalism and freedom work best to provide opportunity for all over the long run.

Another 1/3 of Americans rely on relationship to others as their primary decision making criteria. These people tend to be liberal. they empathize much more with sad situations and tend to want instant results [despite evidence of long run problems these policies cause].

The remaining 1/3rd of Americans have a mixture of decision making criteria -- some are "me first" in outlook, some are "where's the fun?", and some are focused on their dream outcomes. Usually, their votes are split between the ideologies.

Source(s): Naturally, I'm an evidence based kind of guy -- I'd have to be to remember this information. The liberals can't see why this sort of empirical data is useful -- it doesn't have the human relationship angle that they crave.

Great. Then let's get rid of the perks for the middle class. Work harder to get our of poverty.

Work brings freedom -- That was the sign on the gates at Auschwitz.
