Questions about correct capitalization in titles of songs/books/movies/albums.?
Correctly formatting song titles includes capitalizing ALL words, except for the following:
Coordinating Conjunctions - and, but, nor, or
Prepositions - of, to, in, for, on, over
Articles - a, an, the
The word "to" in infinities - to jump, to fly
** And the first word is always capitalized regardless.
** Verbs are capitalized, including Is, Be, Are, and Do.
** Pronouns are capitalized, including He, We, Her.
Those are the traditional rules, and one of my biggest pet peeves is seeing incorrectly formatted titles. But there are any other rules? Because sometimes those don't seem to line up.
For example, a titled such as "So Close yet so Far" contains 3 coordinating conjunctions that should be capitalized, but looks strange when it is. Is this right?
What about something like, "He Wants to Go through"? 'Through' is a preposition, but looks strange when 'correctly' formatted.
Prepositions like against, throughout, underneath, toward, between look strange when dealt with. What is the correct procedure for dealing with titles?

The first letter of the last word is alway capitalized as well.
So and Yet would be capitalized as they are adverbs, not conjunctions.
Most one-syllable prespositions are not capitalized, but there are exceptions. Like is one of them. Prepositions of more than one syllable are capitalized.

If you best have one older brother, the proper sentence is: I love my older brother, Andrew. If you may have multiple older brother, it is: I love my older brother Andrew. The rationale for the comma within the first variant is that considering that you may have just one older brother, the usage of his identify isn't critical to spot him. It simply provides expertise, so it may be parenthetical. In the moment variant, realizing which brother you like is critical to correctly fully grasp the sentence; it isn't parenthetical, and a comma is wrong. In regard to the usage of a capital letter for Older Brother or Uncle or Aunt: If you're addressing those men and women or regarding them via identify and also you name them Aunt Jennie, Uncle Bob, and so forth., then you definately capitalize the phrase considering that it's aspect in their identify.
