  • Is there any mod for MSN for Ventrilo-like chatting?

I would really like some plug-in for Windows Live Messenger that allowed me to voice chat with someone while being off of the window. Right now, you have to have the window pulled up and hold F2 to chat, but I'd love something more like Ventrilo, where I can have it minimized and hold F2, or even better, CTRL, to record and send chats.

  • Using LAN to access computers?

I have two computers and two printers in my house.

    I have:

A desktop running XP and connected to a router serviced by RoadRunner.

Connected to it are two printers: An HP D4360 and an HP D8100. Both connect with USB.

And upstairs, I have a laptop running Vista that taps into the router wirelessly. Is there any way and/or any kind of (wireless) connection I can set up between the two so that the laptop can access the printers connected to the desktop?

    Thanks.

  • Questions about correct capitalization in titles of songs/books/movies/albums.?

Correctly formatting song titles includes capitalizing ALL words, except for the following:

Coordinating Conjunctions - and, but, nor, or

Prepositions - of, to, in, for, on, over

    Articles - a, an, the

The word "to" in infinities - to jump, to fly

** And the first word is always capitalized regardless.

** Verbs are capitalized, including Is, Be, Are, and Do.

** Pronouns are capitalized, including He, We, Her.

Those are the traditional rules, and one of my biggest pet peeves is seeing incorrectly formatted titles. But there are any other rules? Because sometimes those don't seem to line up.

For example, a titled such as "So Close yet so Far" contains 3 coordinating conjunctions that should be capitalized, but looks strange when it is. Is this right?

What about something like, "He Wants to Go through"? 'Through' is a preposition, but looks strange when 'correctly' formatted.

Prepositions like against, throughout, underneath, toward, between look strange when dealt with. What is the correct procedure for dealing with titles?

  • Computer brings up a blank black screen.?

This laptop has some serious problems. Just today now do they make the computer practically unusable.

I can no longer log in outside of Safe Mode. It just brings up a black screen with the mouse moving and NOTHING will respond.

However, I can still boot the computer up in safe mode, but that's not going to work for me >_> I need audio and regular programs to run.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Thanks to anyone who reads or posts. ^^

  • My computer freezes up seconds after logging in.?

I turn on my Ee-PC laptop, running Windows XP, and it will come on fine, I can log in my user. Then I have between 5 and 30 seconds before everything just freezes. The mouse can still move, but nothing will respond. The only thing I can do is turn it off.

I have been able to, while it's working, pull up task manager and look at the process list. I noticed a process called zy2e7.exe that appears and suddenly multiple copies of which begin to fill the list. Once about 20 or 30 copies of it come up, the computer freezes.

I can boot my computer up in safe mode, and most things work fine.

What is wrong, or what can I do to help it?

Thanks to anyone who reads this ^^
