NFL Expansion/ Relocation?
I doubt the NFL is going to add any expansion teams in the near future, so i think it will be a team moving- Jaguars, Bills, Rams, etc. I would love to hear what NFL fans have to say on the subject. Expansion? Relocation? Cities? Names? *Please Answer

Expansion could be tough at this point just because we have even divisions in each conference, so in order to expand the league out again, they'd have to either create another division or add one team to each division, bringing the total teams in the league to 40...now I dont think this will be out of the realm of possibility maybe 10 or 15 years down the road...
As far as relocation is concerned, the only teams I see relocating any time in the near future would be the Raiders (this will most likely happen very soon as their lease is going to expire with Oakland, and the coliseum has become a real pit), plus I heard something about Al Davis getting the right of first refusal on that fancy new stadium that is supposed to get built in City of Industry. and the Niners (similar situation as Oakland) . In fact I've heard talk of them sharing a stadium the same way the jets and the G Men do...

The Bills are not moving. The Jags have a chance but probably not. The Rams might move back to LA but I doubt it. The Raiders have a good chance of going back to LA since they can't get a new stadium in Oakland. LA has A LOT of Raider fans there so thats another good reason for them to move there. If any city is getting an NFL team it would be LA since they should have a team but lost the other two but theres no other city who has that much of a chance to get an NFL team anyway.I would say in the next few years the Raiders will be in LA since some guy is trying to get them there, the Raiders don't have an agreement for a new stadium in Oakland, LA really wants a team, they will have a brand new stadium there too. Theres even a chance that my Chargers will be moving to LA since they can't find an agreement to a new stadium in San Diego.

I would rather see relocation than another expansion. The Jaguars have to be the most likely to move, they are regularly blacked out in their home market because they can't sell out.
The Bills are a likely relo too- but if they move it would be orchestrated by their current owner rather than via a sale. I don't know enough about the Rams situation to comment.
The NFL desperately wants a team in the LA market, so that would have to be the #1 landing spot.
I truly believe the Bills could organize a move to Toronto.
The NFL would never allow a team to move to Las Vegas though it would be a great location.
Other possible locations:
Austin, TX - it's a huge market that doesn't really interfere with Houston or Dallas - but I'm sure Jerry Jones would fight it to the death.
Birmingham, Alabama - smaller market, but they would sell out every week guaranteed.
Portland, Oregon

Well, the number one situation you hear about related to this is Los Angeles. It's the #2 TV market so the networks are livid that the NFL isn't there, and the networks are the main customers of the NFL, so when they whine, the NFL listens. There was talk about the Raiders moving down again, there was talk about expansion, and there were a couple other teams whose names were floated in connection with that. The stadium situation is the main reason it hasn't happened. If that gets resolved it wouldn't surprise me to see a team there one way or another within 3 years.

Ironically, the first team to ever leave LA (the Chargers in 1961) are rumored to be going back. But this time it would be to Anaheim, where they would try to keep some of the old fan base.
As far as other teams go, Jacksonville, Oakland, Buffalo and St. Louis are all unhappy with their digs. St. Louis presents an interesting case, as the stadium was virtually custom built for the team 14 years ago, and the decline in fan support is purely a result of mismanagement.

I don't think either are going to happen in the next few years but to pick one I would say relocation but with a stipulation. The team they would want to relocate would have to go to a city that already has a stadium to support the team. The way the economy is, I don't think many cities are in the position to be able to spend the money on building a new stadium.

I'd like to see the Raiders move away because the Bay Area is not a two team sports area. Chicago, New York and LA can support two teams in the same sport. The Bay Area can't do that. The Raiders and the Oakland A's need to pack up and go.

Los Angeles should never get a nfl team. that city has had its chance... two NFL teams ( Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Raiders) both left. besides that city is an NBA city. sorry Los Angeles was never meant to be an NFL city. that's my opinion.
