Cat getting bloated from wet food?

Has anyone else had this occur? My 7-8 week old kitten had been on a mix of wet and dry food until a week ago, while she was eating the wet food her stomach was very bloated, to the point that I had her tested for worms and she didn't have any. I stopped giving her wet food for a week, and her bloating went away.

I gave her some wet food tonight, and she's bloated right back up. I had been feeding EVo and Weruva, both a grain free high protein and high fat food. and I used the Weruva tonight too.

Any one else have this occur? She's been to the vet for this, but they are at a loss too.

Update:

Thanks for the answers, I am planning on sticking with just the dry foods, I was just looking to see if anyone else had seen this. And to J C, I have tried Wellness as well. Name a quality food, I've probably tried it.

While they all worked well with my adults, and even my kitty who wouldn't touch wet food with a ten foot pole before LOVED the Weruva, my kitten just can't seem to tolerate it.

Update 2:

The dry food she is getting is a blend of Taste of the Wild and Orijen. I'm switching all of my babies to Orijen right now. I'm confident enough in the Orijen to let my kitten eat that primarily.

Kate, I learned my lesson with grains and fillers when my 5yr old started ripping her own fur out because of allergies to the grains.

I'm kind of happy she developed that allergy, because since I switched to grain free all my cats 5, 5, and 3 yrs are all back to acting like kittens and the older ones have lost a ton of weight, and I'm spending WAY less on food. Prior to this, I thought Purina and Iams were the best I could buy, boy was I wrong!

I completely agree with the posters above. Just make sure the dry food is a high quality one with not a lot of fillers. I just wanted to suggest buying her greenies for a treat. Just got my kittens these, and they act like dogs, begging for them, jumping on my leg. And they are really good for them!

While EVO and Weruva are great foods, not every food agrees with every cat. Why not try some other good brands, like Wellness? A good one for cats who sometimes don't do well on the more rich foods is California Natural. Give them a try, and see if it fixes her problem. The wet food would be ever so much better for her than the dry.

My cat gets a lot of gas when she eats wet food too, but its not too bad. My vet said that they should eat dry food because its good for their teeth also. If I were you, I would just feed your cat the usual dry food. If you want to give your cat something special, get some dry cat treats.

You should probably switch her permanently to dry food. It will take her some time to get used to it, but it will be better for her than wet food. They like wet food better but its very fatty and unhealthy. My cat gets dry food and hes super healthy and always in a good mood. Dry food is much healthier for everything in general for them, even their teeth
