Do you think Barack Obama was trying to brainwash school children?

I dont think he was but the Republicans thought he was. I also think the reason why they were thinking that is becasue they are still John McCain lovers

As a McCain lover I don't think Obama was trying to brainwash the kids.Other President have given speech's to children. However it was the lesson plans sent to schools from the Dept.of Education by Obama's zealots that could be the problem.I don't know if he was aware of it but the WH was.During the campaign a new program showed a teacher questioning kids about who they liked in the elections, she was a Obama supporter and when a little girl said McCain the teacher said (not verbatim)your daddy is in Iraq and if McCain is elected he will be there a long time. The kid had to hold back her tears. The teacher should have been fired for that stunt. So it goes to show how such a "lesson plan" can get ugly.

Wow! What is the root of this logic? Here is a trait Obama has. He thinks he can do anything with words. While defending his signing of the stimulus package Obama said there was almost a uniform consensus that we needed to do something. That sound great doesn't it? Its a shining example of classic creative writing. Almost a uniform consensus. Well consensus means a uniform opinion. Okay a uniform uniform opinion. So almost a uniform uniform opinion. Almost in this sentence means there was no consensus. Very creative. Very deceptive. Deceit. A word often heard in connection lie. Let's look at the rest of the sentence. There was almost a uniform consensus that we needed to do something. Nothing here supports the fact that the stimulus bill which was passed was the something they needed to do. If you are a supporter you heard what great logic and execution had occurred and thought it to be quite eloquent. If you are a critic you heard deception and you were correct. Obama is so confident that he can fool all of the people all of the time. I think he fools you all of the time.

No. I feel that he was trying to push issues on something he wants this way to get out a message that most children will share with their parents later and then the parents most times don't want to go against in front of their child as they will look like the bad guy. I don't get it why he pushed kids to see the message at school if it's to stay in school, they have to be there to be seeing it so what was the point of that? I don't get it..a big fuss to put him in the center of the focus again.

The president talks to school kids. Sorry. That's just some sh*t the president does. Republicans didn't think he was trying to brainwash anyone. Republican politicians and talking heads just say that because they know dumbasses will listen.

BARACK OBAMA IS THE NATION'S FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT!!!! This is his cross to bear. Show me another president who has been under this much scrutiny for no apparant reason. He is not a socialist, communist, or any of that other crap. And he better grow a set of balls. He has the power. He has the means to get sh*t done, and he's letting the right ride the crap out of him when he could just do his thing and let them watch and whine from the sidelines.

Source(s): I gave the man some money last year, and I want my damn change!!!

The activast were the ones that started that jargon & they knew if they can start bad news on Obama, that when the Healthcare Bill came out, Obama could easily be discredited. obama, i must say, I do like what he says just about everything but I know deep in my heart, he is being deceitfull in all ha says.

Look at what he was going to ask the children to do before he change it again.

Of course not. But you know what's funny. There were several schools who banned Obama's speech. On Wednesday following the speech some of these schools bussed children to see GW Bush speak.

No. The suggestion is downright crazy; but, coming from the right, what else can we expect?

Of course he was...he has to get them while their young or he won't have a chance.
