Ok, Baby Question.......10 points?
OK, so I've 7 weeks left to go on tuesday (09/15/2009)... Just wondering... When do you think is a good time to take maternity leave. I'm a restaurant hostess for now, so I have been doing alot of walking.
Let me know what ya'll think.

you can take maternity leave whenever you feel most like it's needed- i know some women who take 2 months off before their due date, just to prepare for the baby... other women work up til their due date, and even past their due date if they haven't had the baby yet... it just all depends on your personal preference and your finances. personally- i'm going to work up to my due date- unless pain gets too unbearable- than i'll just go ahead and take some time off. (other wise i'll get bored at home, sitting around waiting!) good luck ...

Well in my opinion if you think you could work another 4 weeks then then take 3 weeks off to rest sleep get small details ready for baby and enjoy the last of your baby bump I think that would be best. You want to be with the baby for as long as possible after he[she is born and you only get 12 months matenity leave which will give you only 10 months with baby. IF you took mat leave now
Do what you think would be best for you
Good Luck and God Bless

I would say when you have somewhere between 4 to 6 weeks left
I would wait until i only had 4 but that's me it all depends on how you feel and if its starting to get to be to much then start 9/22/2009

the final choice is really up to you..but i'm planning on going on maternity leave 3-4 weeks before my actually due date just so i can get all the last minute things done before baby arrives. if you have a lot of things to do yet like setting up the nursery.,..washing the baby clothes, etc, then go a little early...if you don't, wait a little later

I used to get rather dry, itchy legs after a bathtub so I stopped utilising bubble tub and bathe gels with SLS which rather helped. I use cocoa butter frame lotion cos it smells scrumptious however I could feel that child oil could be flawlessly best to make use of. It's so much inexpensive and does the process simply as well and even bigger than a few high priced creams.

It all depends on how your feeling and how your health and the babies health is holding up.
I would work as far up until labour as I could as to have as much time with the baby as possible once it is born.
But it is totally up to you, if you are finding work too hard on you than by all means take a few weeks extra.

This is really just your opinion. It depends on how you feel. I am a photographer and its going to be hard work while pregnant, but i plan on staying at my job until my water break my manager took leave when she was 35 weeks because she couldn't take it anymore. So it just depends on you.

It depends on how uncomfortable you are while at work and when you get home. I would say wait another week or two possibly. It honestly depends on how you are feeling and if you ever get a chance to sit at work.

I think its completely up to you & how you feel. My plan is to work until I go into labor unless something changes.
