Under socialism, shouldn't every able body have to serve in the military?

It wouldn't seem fair to only ask a few to serve, and then pay them the same wages as someone who is flipping burgers.

Good luck getting guys to volunteer to fight for a country that isn't free.

    I think there should be mandatory military service. Nothing wrong with contributing to the common defense, Right? Other countries do it and no one bats an eye about it.
