WMP Playlists/Sony MP3 player.?
My daughter has a 32Gb Sony X series and has it half full of her favourite albums and tracks, however when she copies a playlist from WMP to the Sony (Playlist folder) it copies all the tracks again, even though they are already on the player, this is taking up too much space, surely it should just be a 'list' from which it plays the playlist tracks from the library on the player?? What is she doing wrong?, she is sure she managed to do it correctly on one occasion but can't find out how. Help!!

I think that the Sony Series is seeing the existing playlist as mp3 and the wmp files as a totally different set of files and therefore duplicating the list as seperate items.
I cannot be certain as I have Apple i-pods and i-Phone I suggest that you speak to the Sony helpline.
