What are your thoughts about the left-wing?

My thoughts are that the term is inaccurately used to describe moderate and liberal Democrats, rather than real left wing types like Communists. What can I say, people are dumb.

The left wing counter-balances the right wing, and the ideal government is a combination of both. Notably, the top ranked most livable countries in the world are socially democratic countries.

What left wing? Bernie Sanders? Dennis Kucinich? Ralph Nader? Me? Very few other names come to mind. Or are you one of those people who are so far off the deep right end that Atilla the Hun and Genghis Khan look like bleeding heart liberals?

Without the left and right wing positions, the center and defensemen would be very busy covering the ice.

In the most basic sense the left everywhere reduces the importance of human life to the attainment of material. Just so happens they take the counter approach to capitalism.

I can say this much for capitalism...at least it gives a human being the room to exercise the individual will.

Marxism, communism, and all the variants do not. The condensed arguement seems to be that the individual may be free from his material concerns in some measure through the yoke being applied equally to all.

In the end it is up to the individual to decided which path suits them best. Which kind of gets us around to anarchy...which isn't necessarily bad.

That guy is freaking rich, millionaire rich. All due to evil CAPITALISM. Yet he puts himself out as a regular liberal joe, who wears the regular working man's uniform, doesn't shave. His average joe look is a farce. The more left wing they are the richer they are. They talk about how the poor are being screwed by right ring while dining at $10 a burger Soho cafe. Struggling is a fashion statement to some and a reality for others.

Those trucker baseball caps are another example. Rich liberal men like Ashton Kutcher like to wear them. to give them that cool blue collar look. Put him to work on a job that a typical blue collar man does, do you think he will survive one hour?

With just one wing you'll end up flying in circles.

I am pretty ok with the left wing of the republicans, the left wing of the democrats would scare Stalin. Specificity is important.

They mean well, and think they're going good, but they're really more harmful to the rights, freedoms and economic liberty that are our Constitutional birthright as Americans.

Oh, and many of them are full of hatred and delusional beliefs about Republicans and conservatives. Such as how we are racist or fascist or hate the poor or other nonsense.
