What are some exercises that helped you get your flexibility back?

I recently had a physical assessment and my poorest area was flexibility and I think that I have always been this way. I am forty years old and wondering if anyone else has been like this and managed at this age or older to get it back.

Update:

Ping Pong balls?

Update 2:

The rolling around on the stability ball thing in front ot my husband is even funnier than the ping pong ball thing.

I do have that stabitlity and have been doing sit ups on it and he hasn't come running yet! A forty two inch tv at the foot of the bed is just far more interesting, I guess. Honestly, let him stay there, he is insecure about my weight loss and physical fitness anyway!

    Ping Pong balls,,,LMFAO!

Your really should get you a Stable ball or a Palates ball. Actually Wal-mart sells the kit, that has the exercise kit with all the stuff along with a video on exercises that will work well. You can get some extra stretching by wearing some very revealing workout clothing, and then take your ball and put it in line of your husband TV viewing, about mid way through your exercises and rolling around on your ball, he will be interested in taking you into the bedroom to work on some of those moves naked. Good luck and have fun.

  • It really works best with a partner. I'm not joking around. Someone to push your legs toward your head, for example.
