Bridal Shower Thank You Gifts - any suggestions? what did you give?

Just looking for ideas. My MOH and 1 of my bridesmaids are throwing my shower with a little help from my Mom.

I want to get them a nice gift, but I'm not sure what is appropriate.

For MOH & BM - I got them pearl jewelry as their Thank You for being in the wedding, so I'm not sure if more jewelry is a good or bad idea (although, it would be far less formal than pearls).

Would it be appropriate to just send them flowers and a Thank You card or should it be a physical gift?

I have no clue. So please let me know what gift you gave your shower host(s) or what you think would be a good gift.

I got my MOH a signed book from her favorite author. It was perfect timing and I know not everyone can get a signed copy it just worked out perfectly for me. The book was being released and the author was doing a book signing in my city. If she's a reader maybe a nice friendship book. I brought Best Friends Forever by Jennifer Weiner and Jen signed it. I thought it was a great gift. Anything would be fine as long as it's from you... It doesn't have to be a traditional gift just from your heart.

I've been a bridesmaid 3x and didn't get a specific thank you for the shower. I did get a gift at the rehearsal which was the jewelry the bride wanted us to wear. I think you can just give 1 gift at the rehearsal dinner to cover everything they're doing for you.

I'd say make a little goodie bag of girly things, or things directed towards each girl. Like a tote with flip-flops, nail polish, nail grooming kit, etc... The whole kit of nail accessories can be done in a nice make-up bag as well. I'd love that as a gift. :)

Perfume can be iffy because not everyone loves the same scent.

I'd get them an actual gift rather than flowers, etc...

My husband's 3 aunts hosted my shower. They are 3 older women, who I'm sure have all the trinkets they can stomach by this point. I decided to send each of them a lovely bouquet of flowers. I had them delivered to the shower location in advance, so when they got there to decorate, they'd already be there waiting for them with a note thanking them for making me feel so welcome into the family and so special. They seemed very pleased.

Flowers are the best idea - I sent azalea plants, very pretty and longer lasting than cut flowers. But, see what's in season.

i am having flowers delivered the day of the shower to the location to be on display... a constant thank you for the entire party... i also got my maid of honor a tote bag that says her name and maid of honor... to carry her things in when coming to my house to get ready for the wedding...
