Is Spongebob Squarepants Gay?

No. Here are the reasons:

1. The show is aired in daytime Nickelodeon, and they would not allow any adult situations on that network.

2. He's got a mental dysfunctionn, which is not a problem but if the damn society was to find a man like that they'd outcast him.

3. Sea sponges are not a type of animal that could become gay.

4. Sea sponges are asexual, they have no gender.

5. Stephen Hillenburg never really confirmed it.

6. Spongebob has a child-like mindset, and children tend to dislike gays very much.

7. Some animals appear gay, but they are actually straight. Just likeFlamingoss, sea horses, some horses, ants, and gorillas.

8. Spongebob has shown attraction to members of the opposite sex, why do you think he plays karate with Sandy? So he can touch her.

However the Spongebob being gay thing is great publicity for Nickelodeon, just like the hanging munchkin in the wizard of oz, and the scream in the LoveRoller coasterr song. As long as these myths exist people will continue to watch theWizardd of Oz for that scene, listen to the LoveRoller coasterr song for that scream and watch Spongebob Squarepants to see if he is gay. These guys will make a ton of money with these accusations and therefore none of these myths will ever be revealed to be false by the owners.

In 2005, a promotional video which showed SpongeBob along with other characters from children's shows singing together to promote diversity and tolerance,was attacked by an evangelical group in the United States because they saw the character SpongeBob being used as an advocate for homosexuality.James Dobson of Focus on the Family accused the makers of the video of promoting homosexuality due to a pro-homosexual group sponsoring the video.

The incident led to questions to whether or not SpongeBob is homosexual. Creator of the character, Stephen Hillenburg, had previously denied that SpongeBob was gay in 2002 when SpongeBob's popularity with gay men grew. He clarified that he considers the character to be "almost asexual". After Dobson made the comments, Hillenburg repeated this assertion that sexual preference was never considered during the creation of the show. Tom Kenny and other production members were shocked and surprised that such an issue had arisen.

Well there's no way in hell spongebob is marrying a girl. That's just impossible. And to do baby sponges... I mean that would be a disaster. Spongebob trying to get his thing to rise probably would make a good horror movie.

Therefore if with a girl it won't work...
