It's OK to be excited about your mom being in labor-I was and I was only 5 years old at the time!

Try to take you mind off of it a little though. Read a book, watch TV, talk to your cousin, walk over to the nursery and peek into the window and watch the newborns, go to the cafeteria and get a bagel...you probably have plenty of time before you'll get to go in and see your new brother or sister anyway. Just relax, you'll get a ton of baby time helping out your mom in the days to come and your mom will be fine. Childbirth is very natural and she's done it before;)

There's 7 billion people in the world, and they all got here the same way. She'll be fine, especially in a hospital.

Maybe you two should be in the delivery room when she has her baby. I can't think of a better way to tell you both "USE BIRTH CONTROL" than watching that, ha ha.

Have you and your mom picked names yet? Maybe calm down by doing your math... Start trying to figure out how many diapers the kid will go through - how many changes a day, how many days til he/she is potty trained, how many of those changes are you going to have to do? How many hours will you babysit? Hours of fun...

Sit down and take a deep breath, Relax. You're in the hospital with tons of dedicated professionals that will tend to your mom. You have nothing to worry about. Do you know the sex of the baby? If not, maybe it would be fun to try and guess what your mom is going to have. if you do know, just imagine how Beautiful the baby will be; think about who he or she will look like.

Just relax your not the one having the baby. Your mom is going through this not you. Just imagine holding your new baby brother or sister. In just a few minutes the baby will be here and you will be fine. Congrats big sister.

If 2 different human beings desire to throw you a bathtub, enable them to, assuming the centred visitor checklist would be completely different for each and the two the human beings throwing the events understand approximately the different one. And the guy who suggested that is selfish is merely jealous - it would be selfish to throw your self a bathtub, yet whilst people who love you desire to throw you a bathtub, how in the worldwide would that make YOU selfish? Ugh!
