Why is it easier to get along in life by being evil, than it is to get along being nice to everyone?

because people who avre mean and evil are listened to, and get their way. nice people get trampled on by the mean people, and dont do anything to stop it because they want to be nice. its ridiculous

evil way is usually the easiest path... good way usually requires work.

convenience is wanted now. nobody wants to take the TIME to enjoy things, its all gotta be fast.

We all the know the famous phrase 'nice guys finish last' - well it's completely true, to a degree anyway. People who march through life bullying their way along, generally are pretty unhappy people under all that tough exterior. The nice guys may get walked all over, but generally don't care, because they know that they are doing their bit for the world, and it doesn't matter what some idiot says 'cos they can lift their head high and say they did it the good way. Bad people occasionally need the assistence of a good person, and this is when they truly pay for their actions, as they generally have a hard time problems because nobody wants to help them.

I just like to beleive in a sort of karma - not a hippy style incense burning karma, but one where bad people ultimately pay their actions in the long run, and the struggling good guys generally end up happier in the long run, with loads of mates that are happy to help anytime.

Well it's just how it is. We can keep asking why and never think the answer is good enough. It has always been like that, that it's easier being bad than good.

It's always harder to go for something more in life. I mean it's logical.. You won't be a president by sitting in front of the TV all day watching The Simpsons would you? It's the same thing about being good. If you want to be good you have to do something. Because it's always easier to just act like a jerk, but once you've had it as a routine to be good it's not that difficult anymore. So it's more how you take things. Bc once you're good you find it hard to actually be bad.

I think you yourself indicate in how hard or easy it actually is to be a good person. If you don't see the point in being good. Maybe there's something wrong :)

It's a normal opinion among people that evil doers are easily coming up in lives while good stays behind. People's sarcastic maximized words are taken seriously sometimes by a man's mind. As a result he begins to move away from the right path and begins to enjoy the initial pleasures of the evil without knowing that he is going to lose everything one day. After losing everything he begins to realize that he has been left alone from the normal world to suffer the punishment alone. All the figures which talked to him in the past come one by one in his mind and put him in sickness and sorrow. He is thinking that those people who have talked in the past are living a happy life and realize that they have just talked, not did. In that situation he is thinking that the whole world is really good and he is alone very bad. He hates himself and try for suicide.

You should not expect that everything will come itself. If you like a thing, you must work for it; if you like a situation, you must search for it.

What exactly is the correct way to be 'evil' or 'good' really? Human nature is easy to break down into two things, Survival and Reproduction. Moral and ethics vary from person to person but to be honest most people will do what ever it takes to keep them self going. It doesn't bother me because I don't see life as black and white with; good and bad, right and wrong or fair and unfair. Life is even and it easy to assume that doing 'good' requires hard work, fortunately if you stray from society's backwards, hindered and conformist views then you can see what is labeled 'evil' as doing 'good' for yourself. As I said before, humans want to survive and without a sense of self expression and free thought away from classical or authoritarian social dynamics then you might as well be dead.

there is no sense of right or wrong... There is only the way Humans have "set" things.

Unfortunately, good things come at a terrible price.

For example:

Fast food is delicious, but it causes disease, sickness, obesity and eventual death,

Whereas...

Vegetables are less rich in taste, but cause great muscular growth, healthy lifestyles and good social reactions in Human Communication.

I can only say... If there is a god... He doesn't love us very much to take away all the things that make us happy and replace them with all the things that are "right" and "good for you"

I find this god to be extremely unloving... Hopefully I don't offend any religious people here, but I am making a point.

It's about the choice between what is right and what is easy (remember Dumbledore's speech at the end of Goblet?): I think in the long run we'll be better off with doing the right thing, even if it's more difficult or results in less personal gain.

If you are a person who is used to "playing nicely" you won't be able to do any different anyway. It's in your nature. And I'd like to congratulate you on it.
