Depends if they're an Armored Cavalry unit or not.
4 tanks = 1 platoon
4 platoons = 1 company/1 troop (Cav)
4-6 companies/troops = 1 battalion/1 squadron (Cav)
2-5 battalions/squadrons = 1 brigade/1 regiment (Cav)
As a Cav Scout, we just refered to all Tankers as D.A.T.'s

4 tanks to a platoon, and 14 to a company.
