Wedding Reception Songs?
I am getting married October 24, 2009 and I am having trouble finding enough reception songs. I want to have too many than not enough. I would like them to be upbeat/danceable rather than draggy. I want my wedding to have a lot of dance songs so people can have fun. I don't really need anymore slow songs, but if you have some in mind, let me know. =)
My fiance and I are into rock, but country, pop, jazz, blues, etc. will be fine.
Thank you in advance!

Do a little advance survey among your wedding guests. Ask them what songs they love dancing to, and chances are, they'll be on the dance floor the whole dancing time of your reception. We may give you suggestions here in yahoo answers, but we won't be at your wedding, so we won't be able to dance to the music we suggested. I, for example, would really enjoy dancing to Build Me Up Buttercup, Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You, Macarena, Shalala, Papaya Dance, Dancing Queen, ... I would love to try the Chipmunks' rendition of Uptown Girl, Achy Breaky Heart,... and for slow dance, I'd love Got To Believe, Forevermore, and The Gift.
