2000 Cougar left turn signal makes faster clicking, why?

Question

I have a 2000 Mercury Cougar V6 and the left turn signal makes a faster clicking sound when I use it.  The back signal comes on ok but the front left AND the front side left both don't come on.  Does that mean a bulb of one of those lights is out or is it a fuse or relay?  If a bulb was out wouldn't at least the good light be lit?  Please help.

one of the bulbs on the left side is out. with a solid state flasher, it will do that.

Try replacing the bulb. this will solve your problem. when a bulb goes out. it is normal for a car to do this. if the other side is ok, then your relay should be ok. after you replace bulb and then you still have this problem. it may be your indicator switch is bad, this is located under your dash. next to your fuse Panel. it is silver looking round shape. about 2 or 3 inches long. good luck. hope this helps.

There is a bulb is out, that make the flasher got more power, so it goes faster. If all of ur bulb is fine, then its just caused by some bulb is loose. If the use is out, all of ur signal will be off; if that happen then what is going faster?.
