I am ready to propose to a very special woman and it MUST be a special moment. Any ideas as to how and where?

A special moment is one in which means a lot to both of you.

We can give you generic moments, but it may not mean anything to you or her. Do it in a meaningful way that is wholely representative of you two as a couple.

My fiance and I made our relationship official during the Labor Day weekend in Jacksonville, FL. Well he proposed to me during the Labor Day weekend in Panama City Beach, FL. We were watching the sunrise and he asked did I want him to go back to the room and get the camera and I said YES.. well he came back and had a bucket/pail with him. He said, let's dig for treasures in the same. And I said, I AM NOT GETTING MY NAILS DIRTY BY DIGGING IN THE SAND. Well he kept doing it anyway. A few seconds later I saw him get in of me and pulled out a black box with sand all on it and it was it from there. I said YES.

We were going to Las Vegas/Cali for the summer and he was going to propose while we were in Vegas during a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. That plan didn't happen because he ended up not going on the trip with me and my family. But it would've been nice, even though it's a bit pricey to do.

I proposed to my fiance about a month ago now.

We live in Chicago and my girl had a big convention in NYC. She didnt know that I was going to show up. I met her at her hotel and suprised her. THen we took a walk into Battery Park. We had a view of the Statue of Liberty and all of lower New York.

I got on my knee, she said yes.

Take her to her favorite place. If its a restaurant put her ring in a glass of wine for her with flowers petals all over the table. its reasonably priced and very romantic. if she likes going to the park, go for a picnic and have a blanket laid out on the ground and bring some pretty roses or her fav flowers and have something in the flowers that will hold the box the ring is in and take it from there. the most romantic thing is what you say and flowers always adds to it. tell her how much you love her and want to spend your life with her. my partner took me to New York and although he is too shy to do it in public, on valentines day morning he gave me my card and as i opened it he got down on one knee an the proposal was written in the card. He had also booked us a hotel with a nice view of the empire state building

I dont know, I was proposed to over the internet and I regret that I let him get away with that one! haha... Someone in a public place would have been nice.. a nice restaurant maybe.

please dont put the ring in some sort of food or drink and if you dont go out for fancy dinners regularly i wouldnt do it for proposing either because she will sort of guess what youre planning.

it will be special to her no matter what you do because you're proposing to her (and hopefully it will be the only time someone does that).

Go to a place that means a lot to the both of you...the place you met, the first place you kissed, the place where you both realized that you were in love, etc.

It means a lot to us women when you remember little things like that. Good luck!!

In private. That's not to say not in public, but just no place where there's anyone else around. I wouldn't appreciate an audience...awkward

Go on vacation/road trip and pop the question at the grand canyon or some other pretty place.
