Anyone Know Anything About The Jehovah Witneses? Do They Keep Anything Secret...?
From the people they preach to? I ask because a lady told me that they keep lots of things hidden until a person is trapped in their organization.
Truthful answers only and no hate please.

The short answer is yes they keep secrets from newbies.
A more detailed investigation will yield a ton of evidence that supports the short answer I have given. I can say that if you keep your eyes open and listen to all sides of an issue you will get an idea of what is truth and what is propaganda.
Pay close attention to the way people respond to your Q. Remember that a person that is of God will respond as a Christian who is filled with HIS Holy Spirit. Sarcasm, hate, and judgments are not Fruits of The Spirit.
That being said I will give you a condensed list of 21 of the over 100 secrets that the Watchtower keeps from converts for as long as possible or at least until after they are so deep into their organization that they dare not leave it.---
1. Joining us is a one-way street. We will pretend to intensely love you while you walk in. We will openly despise you if and when you choose to walk out.
2. We love to say only we are from God. We love to point out that everyone and everything else is from Satan.
3. Flattery is one of the tools we use to win you over. We like to make you feel special, so that you continue to ‘feel good’ about studying the Bible with us.
4. We also frighten. We don’t want you to realize this, but we subtly and effectively use Fear as an ingredient in many of our teachings. You see, nothing else controls as Fear does!
5. Eventually, we will only accept you if you ‘disown yourself’ and submit entirely to what we call ‘Jehovah’s Organization’.
6. You will only be allowed to have friends who are Jehovah’s friends. The Governing Body decides who Jehovah’s friends are. This practice also ensures that if you ever consider leaving the Watchtower, you will have to deal with a terrible social vacuum in your life, because all your Witness friends will have nothing to do with you.
7. We love to have mock humility. We have immense pride in saying we are the most humble lot. We want you to be proud and have this humility too.
8. While we theoretically believe that acts of kindness should not be publicized, you will notice that we actually crave the adulation and praise that result from publicizing our own self-proclaimed acts of godly devotion.
9. As an extension of the previous point, while we say JWs are not men pleasers, you know better!
10. We take great pleasure in contemplating the destruction of billions of people who have not responded positively to the message we preach. We routinely portray (in pictures) the painful deaths of unbelievers at Armageddon in our publications, and we find such artwork tasteful.
11. To a sane mind, the previous point may fall into the same genre of hate and destruction found in certain other groups that foster world terrorism, but of course, we don’t want you to realize that.
12. Our own congregations, outside the symbol of love and harmony, are as full of gossip, slander, distinctions, prejudice and even hate, as any other part of Babylon the Great, the false religions we condemn.
13. We would have you believe that the brothers love each other. In actuality, rivalry is widespread amongst congregation members, as each tries to out-do and outshine the other. After all, there are 'privileges' on offer, and these will only be yours if you tow the Watchtower line.
14. The more hours you put into field service, the more 'spiritual' you will be called. Of course, on the face of it we appear to say that even service that is comparable to the widow's mite is precious to Jehovah, but know us for a long enough time and you will know that is not true.
15. You may not realize it is disparaging, but it is not uncommon of us to categorize believers as Bethelites, Special Pioneer, Auxiliary Pioneer, Elder, Ministerial Servant, Spiritually Weak or a Marked Person.
16. Naturally, the circuit overseers, elders and other prominent members of the congregation are attracted to those members who are materially well-off. We will never expressly state this, but observe us closely, and you will find that's true.
17. Please say good-bye to a good education, rewarding career etc. You are in the Watchtower now.
18. Look closer, and you will discover that we are an MLM organization. The rewards and privileges that you yourself enjoy in the organization is proportional to the ‘value’ you bring into it, in terms of new converts, hours spent etc. And your money is important to us.
19. You can bequeath any such wealth that you own to us, be that gold, financial securities, property, real estate. We welcome it all.
20. Our love for you, the esteem and value that we hold for you, all actually comes with a heavy price, with many strings attached. But we hope you never realize that.
21. We have many organizational secrets which we don’t want you to know. Those who have ‘left us’ often know these secrets. That’s why we forbid you from ever speaking with them. Similarly, we will try and do everything possible to convince you that the Internet is a Satanic trap, so you never read online the things we don’t want you to read and know.

On the internet they are not forthcoming that they are Jehova's Witnesses sometimes, but if you ask them they will tell you. In a way that could be not really keeping a secret, because they are not keeping their doctrines a secret when they try to persuade you.
Everyone should know their Bible well enough not to be deceived by any false doctrines. So if you get confused by them, then it's your fault for not loving the truth enough to read the Bible on your own.
There are many Christians that hold false doctrines themselves, so in a way the fear of them should motivate us to study the Bible more, so we have foundation in the Bible that cannot be shaken.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Everything we have ever taught is in print, and most of it can be found on the web.
Before a person can become one of JW's they have to answer many questions as to what the bible teaches.
All of our meetings are open to the public, and they are all free of charge. No plates are passed.
Instead of listening to 'a lady' or the many apostate sites.
Invite the next JW who comes by, or go to:
www.watchtower.org
and investigate for yourself.

Pray to Jehovah about it. Keep it real. Be on your toes b/c the devil is seeking to devour someone. Don't let it be you.
Jehovah identified his own @ Isa 43: 10---12 This group will come from all nationalities that keep in harmony with his purpose. While you are investigation you will hear all sorts of things. The father of the lie is Satan @ John 8: 44.. So again ; pray pray pray for direction.
Jehovah's people are not stupid.
Please excuse the towel ... I color my hair. (smile) And that's no secret !

Just to comment on the the first answer from 'Question it all'
"A more detailed investigation will yield a ton of evidence that supports the short answer I have given. I can say that if you keep your eyes open and listen to all sides of an issue you will get an idea of what is truth and what is propaganda.

And what followed was the evidence of someone who doesn't have the fruit of the spirit. So as they stated be careful and open minded also about what they said, this shows someone who is obviously bitter about Jehovah's Witnesses.
Do I personally keep secrets from those that I preach to? No, I don't need to because we don't have any. Do any of those who I've shared in preaching with keep secrets? No. Were any secrets kept from me when I studied? No. In fact before I was baptized I was in contact with several people who decided to leave the organization. They left freely, nobody terrorized them or forced them to do something against their will. Two of them were young and got pregnant - they planned this together and lived with their boyfriends. They weren't happy but they made the decision. Their parents or others in the congregation didn't hate them or ostracize them, if there wasn't any contact it was because these two chose this.
Are people trapped in the organization? Firstly, there is a deep study of the Bible that takes place, which is accompanied by preaching if THE PERSON is moved to. A period of time will pass to see if the person truly wants to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses, then they show the desire to be baptized - they ask. Nobody traps them because nobody can make that decision for you, the words have to come out of your mouth. In fact before baptism there are 3 sessions with 3 different individuals based on questions from the Bible. It becomes very clear if a person is being forced by somebody else - they won't be approved to be baptised because numbers aren't the most important thing in our organization. If a person wants to leave later of course individuals will help them to think seriously about this but at no point is the organization involved in trapping someone. If someone wants to leave they can. God will never force somebody to serve him, neither to individuals force others to be Jehovah's Witnesses - they aren't above God.
In my experience (I didn't grow up as JW) those who decide to leave or feel trapped are those who want to live life as they choose and not as the Bible states. Often this is related to sexual relationships - as a Jehovah's Witness direct sex or sexual acts before marriage is out of the question and many don't want to wait.
Ask this lady what she means by secrets and being trapped. Go for yourself to a meeting, look at the website www.watchtower.org and jw.org - we don't hide anything. There are countless articles in our publications about jealousy, rivalry, greed, true humility, true kindness to others etc because we are still only human with the tendency like any other person to do what is wrong if we aren't guided in the right direction. Of course there are situations that arise between individuals that aren't correct but we are lovingly reminded constantly of how to deal with them. This is why the majority of Jehovah's Witnesses aren't involved in these situations. Like any organization we are made up of imperfect humans. But we are trying to live by God's standards as best we can.

So a lady told you something? ... it doesn't mean it's true does it?
If a woman told you that lizard people were secretly running the world ... would it make it true?
Jehovah's Witnesses have no secrets or hidden agenda ... unlike those who venomously oppose us
- LineDancerLv 71 decade ago
Tell me, if you want to know the truth about God, would you go to Satan to get that information? I hope not. So, if you want to know the truth about Jehovah's Witnesses, would you get the truth from those are totally misinformed about us?
The next time JWs come to your door, ask them anything you'd like. This forum is the wrong place for that.

Jehovah’s Witnesses
Definition: The worldwide Christian society of people who actively bear witness regarding Jehovah God and his purposes affecting mankind. They base their beliefs solely on the Bible.
What beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses set them apart as different from other religions?
(1)Â Bible: Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God, and instead of adhering to a creed based on human tradition, they hold to the Bible as the standard for all their beliefs.
(2)Â God: They worship Jehovah as the only true God and freely speak to others about him and his loving purposes toward mankind. Anyone who publicly witnesses about Jehovah is usually identified as belonging to the one group—“Jehovah’s Witnesses.”
(3)Â Jesus Christ: They believe, not that Jesus Christ is part of a Trinity, but that, as the Bible says, he is the Son of God, the first of God’s creations; that he had a prehuman existence and that his life was transferred from heaven to the womb of a virgin, Mary; that his perfect human life laid down in sacrifice makes possible salvation to eternal life for those who exercise faith; that Christ is actively ruling as King, with God-given authority over all the earth since 1914.
(4)Â God’s Kingdom: They believe that God’s Kingdom is the only hope for mankind; that it is a real government; that it will soon destroy the present wicked system of things, including all human governments, and that it will produce a new system in which righteousness will prevail.
(5)Â Heavenly life: They believe that 144,000 spirit-anointed Christians will share with Christ in his heavenly Kingdom, ruling as kings with him. They do not believe that heaven is the reward for everyone who is “good.”
(6)Â The earth: They believe that God’s original purpose for the earth will be fulfilled; that the earth will be completely populated by worshipers of Jehovah and that these will be able to enjoy eternal life in human perfection; that even the dead will be raised to an opportunity to share in these blessings.
(7)Â Death: They believe that the dead are conscious of absolutely nothing; that they are experiencing neither pain nor pleasure in some spirit realm; that they do not exist except in God’s memory, so hope for their future life lies in a resurrection from the dead.
(8)Â Last days: They believe that we are living now, since 1914, in the last days of this wicked system of things; that some who saw the events of 1914 will also see the complete destruction of the present wicked world; that lovers of righteousness will survive into a cleansed earth.
(9)Â Separate from the world: They earnestly endeavor to be no part of the world, as Jesus said would be true of his followers. They show genuine Christian love for their neighbors, but they do not share in the politics or the wars of any nation. They provide for the material needs of their families but shun the world’s avid pursuit of material things and personal fame and its excessive indulgence in pleasure.
(10)Â Apply Bible counsel: They believe that it is important to apply the counsel of God’s Word in everyday life now—at home, in school, in business, in their congregation. Regardless of a person’s past way of life, he may become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses if he abandons practices condemned by God’s Word and applies its godly counsel. But if anyone thereafter makes a practice of adultery, fornication, homosexuality, drug abuse, drunkenness, lying, or stealing, he will be disfellowshipped from the organization.
(The above list briefly states some outstanding beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses but by no means all the points on which their beliefs are different from those of other groups. Scriptural basis for the above beliefs can be found through the Index of this book.)

JWs like to brag how they were victims of Hitler. They never mention that they kept coming to his door waking him up until he had enough and FIXED them good. LOL
