Nope- there is no such statement. There is not even a debate on it anywhere in masechta Chullin (the tractate dealing with the laws of Kashrut). Jewish law forbids pork- regardless of the cut of meat or from where on the animal it originates.

The Talmud comprises numerous debates and discussions between Rabbis, theologians and sages. I suppose it's possible that somewhere in there, someone expressed a rather bizarre opinion - but certainly in Judaism, bacon = pork and we don't eat it.

I think it's a joke, the Talmud forbids eating pork, but bacon tastes so good that you can either not eat it because it's pork or, well, say it's not pork. It's delicious. That character was making this joke.
