How do i get a title for my chevelle, I live in Florida?
I have a 1968 chevelle i bought about two years ago and I never got the title from the guy i bought it from. He couldnt find it, so he just wrote me a bill of sale. I had one of my cop friends run the vin # to see if it was stolen and nothing came up. I was just wondering if there was a way for me to get the title for it without having to get back in touch with the guy i bought it from, because I dont remember where he lives.

The Notary Certificate of Default is the most effective way to secure the right to your title. It is an administrative process utilizing a notary to affect the involuntary transfer of the vehicle title.
