I don't get it! Why do people on Yahoo answers think that fans/teams are cocky just because their team wins?

People like Visse are the trolls of these forums.

Yankees are 3-1 up on the series because they deserve it.

They whine about Payroll like Visee does.

They whine about favoritism by the umps yet the bad calls against the Yankees made them not score runs for sure.

They whine about steroids yet the Angels have two guys on steroids.

They whine about Mariano's spitball yet they should look at fuentes.

They whine about life, yet they are here answering questions on a 24hour basis(get a job!)

And so on and on.

As a result, you get whiney trolls who believe they are true fans. But in the end, they are just bandwagon fans whose team probably finished last but they hate on winning teams

You are not the only one who wonders this - I have been praising the Yankees, both the team and the majority of fans who are not obnoxious on this site and other places. And this after they eliminated my Twins! But some people just have it stuck that because some of the more vocal fans are also the most obnoxious, these people stereotype every fan of a winning team in that manner.

It's not that they can't handle their team losing, it's that fans of the other team are so obnoxious. You see them ask 50 questions about their team's greatness when they win, but when their team loses, those same people are nowhere to be found or if they are found, they ask 50 questions whining about why their team lost.

The other reason is that some of them are bandwagoners.

I think that people are proud of their teams, I don't think it's being cocky. Some people however get carried away. Being in a city that has a Stanley Cup and numerous Super Bowls this can be kind of tough not for me to brag a little.

It's so frustrating, me being a Yankee fan, and having people never congratulate them on a win, only insult them and say "they buy their players."

Plus, half the question in the baseball section aren't even questions. Most of the time it's just stuff like "I HATE THE YANKEES!?!?"

No joke, i've actually seen a question titled that.

Well, there was one Yankee fan who was calling the Angels a little more than a little league team.

The fact is, by most analyses, the ALCS should be 2-2 right now.

I think the Yankees are cocky not because they win, but because they have such high payrolls and their fans are sooo arrogant.

People like Amanda and Utley for Pres. are okay with me because they are respectful in their victories.

It's those idiotic fans like Joe T that was talking crap about the Dodgers and how he thinks he's a "baseball god".

look, as a docter of baseball, i cant answer your question. but what i can say is that when you sigh into yahoo answers there's gonna be a lot of things one is not going to get, so just expect the worst and carry on.
