  • Will Danica Patrick make NASCAR fans care about the Nationwide series?

I mean yeah, she's hot, gets the publicity and all that nonsense, but it still is only the lower tier of the sport. Will anyone really care who wins any of those races if it isn't her?

  • Why is there such a disparity between good and bad NBA teams?

Especially on the bad end - the NBA regularly has teams that can't win 20% of its games, and so far this year, that is holding true again (ie. Nets and T-wolves). Neither the NHL nor MLB has this problem - the bad teams win at least 35-40% of the time. I won't bring the NFL into this, since there are only 16 games, but I really find it strange that the bad NBA teams are always VERY bad. Why?

  • Gee...Marion Gaborik is out so he can't face the Wild. Surprised?

That was his big knock in Minny - he was hurt too often. So he got the contract he wanted from the Rangers and he get hurt again! Why do teams believe fragile players like him are worth big money?

  • Your thoughts? T-wolves are in FIRST PLACE!!!?

I just had to say that, since it will be probably the only time I can say it all season! Seriously, both the team and Jonny Flynn looked horrible for three quarters and then great in the 4th for a nice comeback win. Forget who the opponent was - nice to see the Wolves beat ANY team! Flynn showed great leadership in the 4th qtr and they certainly responded to Rambis' talk that they were "soft." If this is a sign of things to come this season, will be a nice improvement.

  • Mets fans: who do you root for in this World Series?

Do you stick with your league and root for the arch-rival Phillies or do you take a big breath and cheer for the hated cross-town Yankees for the next week or so?

Of course, if you just can't stand either so you are ignoring this series, you can state why as well!

  • Are all football sportscasters this clueless?

I didn't watch any college FB on Saturday, but when catching the highlights, this great comment was said for the Florida-LSU game: when Tim Tebow took a hit and fell on his butt, the newscaster said that he "took the hit, but showed that he is not affected by the concussion." Really? Landing on his BUTT shows that there is no effect due to a CONCUSSION? Sounds like this guy was confusing body areas, but if this shows his IQ, then maybe those parts are the same for him!

  • Twins fans - your reason why the Twins lost the series?

This will tell who are baseball fans and who think they are. Reason #1 - could not drive in baserunners. Forget blown calls, baserunning blunders, homers - if the Twins could actually get some of those runners across the plate, we would not be talking Angels-Yankees right now!

  • Who am I? NFL Trivia question.?

I set many passing records for a Big Ten school that have since been broken. I was an all-pro player for a legendary Super Bowl team. I went into coaching after my career, first as a defensive coordinator where I coached a #1 ranked defense, then as a head coach and have won a Super Bowl.

  • Are jerseys from the Original Six teams the best ones?

Sport Illustrated had a great article on the Original Six and noted that these six teams make up over 45% of the merchandise sales, especially jerseys. Even if your favorite team is not an Original Six, do you have one of those jerseys and do you agree that they are the best?

I do - even though I am a Devils fan, by far the best jersey is the Blackhawks.

  • Did Wainwright and Sabbathia hurt their teams on Friday?

Both started meaningless games to try to get win #20. Sabbathia got bombed and the Cardinal bullpen blew a 6-1 lead left by Wainwright. Is 20 wins really that important? They both are Cy Young candidates without the 20 wins - in fact Wainwright should win it regardless. But now will these aces be ready for the playoffs?

  • How much does the rainout hurt the Twins?

This was the worst thing that could happen to the Twins. Not only is is extremely difficult to sweep a doubleheader, this now means that Mauer will only catch 2 of the four games, since it would be very difficult on him to be the catcher both games today. I know some say that the piching staffs are now scrambling for Saturday, but who cares? Gotta get the three or four wins in this series first!

  • Will another team ever recieve a harsh penalty like the Wolves did for a salary cap violation?

I have believed for years that if that same situation happened to a marquee franchise, that team would not be stripped of the #1 draft choice for 5 years and the GM had to have no contact with the team for a year. That one moment of stupidity set the franchise back for years, and this came when they had one of the true superstars of the game. Do you see this happening to any other team, or did the teams get wise and make sure they play by the rules? Or, if there is a violation, did the league see that this is too harsh and future violations will not be punished in the same way? I know this was years ago, but I can't help but think the Wolves would be a much better franchise if this punishment was not so harsh. It was why they could not build a proper team around Garnett, save for 2004.

  • Do NBA coaches with great teams get overlooked for awards?

It seems like that the coach of the year award goes to the coach of a team that was terrible the previous season and then improved significantly to either make the playoffs or just miss. Nothing wrong with that (using that logic, I hope Kurt Rambis is COY!) But by doing that, guys like Phil Jackson and Greg Popovich seem to get overlooked when they have jobs that are just as difficult. Not just COY, but probably the best battle worn coach would have been Jackson during the Shaq-Kobe years just to keep them playing nice together. Popovich takes players that others don't want or don't know how to use (Ginobli, Bowen, etc) and makes them a championship contender every year. Why do these guys get taken for granted?

  • How many quadruple doubles have been recorded in the NBA?

Seeing the Hakeem v. Garnett question made me think of that. I believe that Hakeem did that at least once, but did anyone else?

  • How will a referee lockout affect the quality of play on the court?

BQ: Do you think that if replacement officials are used, some will be kept by the league, creating a schism between officials like MLB had a few years ago?

  • How long will the Isaiah Thomas regime harm the Knicks?

This dedicated to the David Lee fan who is bored. I am also not just talking about on the court results, but image and finances as well with the contracts and sexual harassment charges. Feel free to addrees any or all of these issues.

Frankly, I just can't see anything good that really came out of his time in NY.

  • Which team has your favorite throwback jersey?

The uniforms of the past can be great - either better logos or color combos. My personal favorites - the Denver Nuggets' rainbow jerseys and the Jazz with the music note as the logo.

  • What bands do you consider "overrated"?

by this I mean you can even like them or be a fan, but you can't believe how hyped they are or in my case of a couple of classic rock bands, how much they are idolized. An example: I like Led Zepplin a lot, but every classic rock station I listen has the "Zep Set" when they play three songs in a row by the "Mighty Zep" or the "Legends" or "gods of rock", etc. WHY? They are good, but not THAT good.

    Okay, your turn!
