how do i convince my coworkers to help pay for testing of the air quality of our office?
one of my coworkers says she is having headaches from the air in our office but yet, other coworkers she has talked to don't smell anything. how do i or my friend-coworker, convince them (the rest of the office) to contribute to the testing of the air in the office?

If you get the air quality tested and there's something wrong with it, then what? Will you guys also get together to pay for whatever you need to get it fixed?
The thing to do is convince your employer to take action to improve the air quality. That's not going to be easy to do, since it would almost certainly make more economic sense to wait until your coworker misses enough work to fire her or gets sick enough to quit. What you have to do is put some numbers together to convince your employer that making a change in the environment is cheaper than paying for the medical treatment or the unemployment insurance of the sick employee.

If your coworker is convinced her headaches stem from air quality, this is a health & safety issue that your company needs to look into. They should pay for testing.
