When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.

If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which

will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow

underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without

exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For

diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food

after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on

your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If

you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey

cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your

diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to

calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,

start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the

most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a

lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,

disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target

your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a

bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you

to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Hey hun, I would be careful not to loose too much too fast (otherwise it will come right back) but as far as loosing a good amount in 3 months the safe way just change what you eat, amount is important but what you eat is more important. Eat more veggies/salads and fruit raw, stay away from anything processed like white bread, white pasta, fried foods, it will fight against your efforts. Don't eat 3 hours before bed...you will burn the most fat at night that way. Drink a lot of water, herbal tea. Skinny water and vitamin water are good if you need taste, but not too much fruit juice, the calories will sneak up on you.No sodas even diet, they contain aspartame which causes cancer (some will argue this but my sister got it because of this). As far as workout and such, I swear by Hip Hop Abs, but if you can't get that I would try power walking or bicycling, both are great. You can find a good ab routine and stick to it every morning for 10-20 min. Crunches etc. When you are consistent you WILL see results. Good luck with that and school.;)

almost all the other answers have some truth to them. But sprinting and jogging are the best way to reduce accompanied by a good diet. I lost 15 kgs in 45 days by selling off my vehicle and using public transports and walking as much as possible to all places. I also ran a lot early in the morning. Kept me fresh and made me thinner.

The best tip I can give you is meal frequency, eat 5 smaller meals a day (250-350 calories each) and have one every 3 hours after waking up.

Hunger occurs when your stomach is empty, since it takes about 3 hours to digest food if you're eaching every 3 hours you should never feel hungry so you'll cut out snacking easily.

Your target is about 2kg/month of weight loss. Which is not much. Just start walking/ jogging or any other sustainable cardio workout. If you are already into something , just try to be regular(most difficult task!) and increase the intensity of your workout by a fraction.

Don't have to make drastic changes in your diet. Never works!

i lost 30 pounds in 3 months by running every day for atleast 30 to 45 min. pushing yourself even when your tired. and eating right. mostly fish, fresh vegetables , lean meat . and just drinking water and orange juice, maybe some tea too. eat some egg whites for breakfast, small lunch, and dinner. taking in atleast 1500 calories a day. anything less you will be starving yourself and anything more than 2500 you will be overeating. if you starve yourself you will lose the weight but when you begin to eat normally after you have lost the weight you will gain the weight back just as fast as it to you to starve yourself.
