there should be a drain plug under your radiator take it out and stick the hose in the top of radiator and flush it through

oil is heavier than water, its at the bottom of the radiator.... open the drain till only water comes out. whats left of oil wouldnt really hurt, at least the bearings in the water pump is lubricated well. and tell that dude(im not going to call him a mech.) he a dipstick, lol.

a44 lol. it wont hurt anything to have oil in there but if you get a problem you can't distiguish between the oil and the problem that gets in the cooling system.
