Should I call my doctor about my symptoms?

I had my last period on 9/21 and got a positive pregnancy test on 10/22. First test was extremely positive. Took a test in the two days that followed and they were very faint positive. (different brand tests)

Just a few days later I am already a little nervous. I have been cramping slightly (nothing major) since 10/19 and was worried about that...everyone seems to think it's pretty normal in the posts I've read to experience that in the first trimester so I decided not to worry. However today I noticed a brown tinged tissue (very slight) after wiping.

My first appt with the OB isn't until 11/10 so I'm not sure if I should just ride it out till then and see what happens...or if I should call the doctor. I haven't had many pregnancy symptoms...no nausea, only slight breast tenderness and fatigue.

What do you think?

With the advent of pg test detecting so early these days, it makes women aware of pregnancies they normally would not know of.. this is good and bad... a large number of women have miscarriages and don't even realize it thinking it's just a BAD period or HEAVY period..

Here is what I know and have experienced after trying for 2 years to have my son with 4 miscarriages..

If you start out with strong symptoms and they diminish you are probably having a miscarriage.

If you start cramping and spotting BRIGHT RED you are probably having a miscarriage.

If you have ANY questions or concerns you should ALWAYS call your OB. This is YOUR body and YOUR baby don't rely on what other people tell you. If you think you should go or ask then go or ask. Don't question yourself. Everyone's experience with pregnancy is unique to them and what works for some will not work for others. No issues asking advice just make sure you do what YOU think is best.

It is possible to have brown spotting at implantation. (this is normal)

It is possible to cramp in the beginning as well.

I wish you lots of luck and well baby wishes... If it doesn't work out don't worry it will soon enough and your life will never be the same!!

The thing is, if you are trying to miscarry, there is nothing they can do about it anyway. Just stay off your feet as much as you can til you see the Dr. It doesn't sound like you are, but....

Spotting often occurs when the egg implants in the uterine wall.

I'd call the Dr. If you are having or going to have a miscarriage there really isn't much they can do to prevent it, but just to be safe I would go in.
