2012 i want to know bad!?

2012 will happen the instant after 11:59:59 pm on December 31 2011.

Always assuming there is no leap second inserted, in which case it will be immediately after 11:59:60 pm on the same date.

2012 will begin after 31 December 2011 and will end on 31 December 2012. It will be a year like any other.

Raving ratbags say the world will end because they are ratbags and that is the sort of thing raving ratbags do.

Crooks say the world will end because they think they can make money out of selling worthless junk to uncritical kids and dim-bulb adults. They also have false documentaries made for unscrupulous TV channels to screen to promote sales and ratings.

Would-be practical jokers say this because their limited imaginations tell them it is still amusing after the 40,000th repetition.

The "world" will end when it is struck by a real, not movie asteroid or is irradiated by a neutron star merger within a couple thousand light years. Or when the Sun goes through a red giant stage in a few billion years.

Note to Christians - read Mark - nobody knows the day or the hour, not the angels and not Jesus.

The Mayans predicted nothing and neither did any ancient people, that particularly includes Nostradamus and supposed prophecies about popes.

The disaster in 2012 myth is entirely lies told for commercial gain. It has no scientific, historical, Christian, Islamic, Buddhist or Hindu content and is completely fraudulent.

The movie appears to be CGI destructo-porn and is intended for the low taste of a target audience of teenage boys and immature adults. It will be plot-free and the characters will be cardboard cutouts.

This garbage predates the movie and started with a prediction of a spiritual awakening in 2012 by a relatively innocent New Age character called Jose Arguelles. That was not scary enough to sell disaster shelters, books, guns, survival supplies and other junk so the frauds and liars turned it into the end of the world.

It is a filthy exploitation of hysteria among children and a few dim-bulb adults that has been going on for some years.

If there are suicides as a result of this garbage I hope to see the sources charged in court with some criminal offence. We can start with fraud.

You know that's a good question. I would assume 12:00am GMT December 21, 2012 is the time of the big event. Of course there is a lot going on that day.

Let's look at everything that's scheduled. First, the end of the Mayan calender of course. Now the Mayans didn't know about GMT and since central America is 6 time zones west of the Greenwich Meridian, maybe we should move the end of the world back six hours (Whew, that's a relief, some extra time!).

But wait, we still have the planet Nuibri to contend with as well. That will either knock the Earth out of orbit, cause the poles to shift, or cause massive earthquakes and tsunamis.

Oh and don't forget, the Sun and Earth will align up with the super giant black hole in the center of the galaxy! The exact second that happens, look out.

Speaking of black holes, the evil scientists at the LHC may wait until Dec 21, 2012 to create that black hole to destroy the Earth. That's a Friday. Somehow I don't see them staying up until midnight to turn it on. However they may need to wait until then in order to get the maximum effect from the galactic alignment and Nuibri.

Did I miss anything? There is supposed to be a comet slamming into the Earth that day, Killer solar flares (no doubt because of the galactic alignment). The AntiChrist will enslave us and I believe an alien invasion is also scheduled for that day as well.

I am sure I missed a few things (someone will correct me). I don't know about you, but that's a little too much drama all in one day for me. I think I'll get drunk on the 20th, and stay that way until the 22nd.

2012 will start to happen just after midnight on the 31st December 2011.

It will end at midnight on the 31st December 2012.

If it happens it should be around tea time. Whatever it is. The ancient Mayans didn't like to miss their tea and crumpets.
