Opinions on Cambria :)?

Also, whenever we decide to have babies and if I by chance used this name, the nicknames would probably be Cam or Cami. Cami Daneker :) Ekk so cute!

Update:

I have a few questions about the name Cambria for a little girl. I was watching a baby show last night and a woman named her daughter that and I was oddly intrigued. The more I think about it, the more I love it. I've heard of the band and everything but it has never crossed my mind as a name til now and I believe it's becoming one of my new favorites. Ok questions:

1. Would you pronounce it Cam-bree-ah or Caym-bree-ah? I have been using the first one.

2. Do you like the spelling better, Cambria or Kambria? Another new thing for me, I normally prefer the "K" spelling (Khloe, Kassidy), but with this name I like the "C".

3. What do you think about the name, what are your opinions on it? What kind of girl do you imagine with this name?

4. What are some suggestions, using Cambria as the first and middle name that you think sound good? I'm thinking Cambria Eloise or Cambria Ruth, and can't think of a first name using it as a middle.

I'm really loving this name and just wanted to see what everyone else thought of it and if ya'll had any suggestions? Also how do you think it sounds with the last name Daneker (Dan-eh-ker)?

Thanks everyone <3

I like the name! Definitely spell it with a C and pronounce it Cam-bree-ah.

Since Cambria Daneker is already a mouthful, I would go with a shorter, one syllable middle name like Mae or Rae (ooh, Cambria Rae sounds pretty to me).

Also, if you haven't thought of it yet, I'm sure a lot of people would also call her Bria as a nickname. Bria also goes well with Daneker and Bria Rae also still sounds good. Just thought I would let you know people would probably also call her Bria.

Good luck, and I love the name!

It makes me think of Coheed and Cambria.

    I'd pronounce it Cam-bree-ah.

Cambria, for some reason it just looks "right" if you know what I mean.

I see a more a sweet, artistic, shy, and studious girl with the name. I think it's pretty, even if it does remind me of C&C.

Oh I love Cambria Eloise. Love the name Eloise anyway, although I do love Ruth too. Eloise sounds best between the two.

One down fall might be that people *might* misspell it. :( or maybe mispronounce

And to be completely honest it does sound a little strange with Daneker. Cambria Daneker... see it just doesn't flow for me. But maybe that's just me.

    I'd pronounce it Cam-bree-uh.

I'd spell it with the C. I hate intentionally misspelt names, they look silly and illiterate.

In my opinion, it's not nice. It sounds "trendy" and won't age well at all. It reminds me of Cumberland as well; my aunt lives there. I'd picture a little girl with dark hair and big eyes, a little bratty.

Cambria Eloise sounds rather nice. I'm quite fond of Eloise. It's a gorgeous name that sounds lovely for any age.

Cambria Camden Daneker? 3 syllable, 2 syllables, 3 syllables

Cambria (kam-bree-uh) is a medieval name for Wales, in case that makes any difference.

I knew a Cambria growing up, and we all called her Cami. I don't think it's a bad name.

    Pronounced Cam-bree-ah.

    Spelled with a 'C.'

Cambria is a cute little town in California between Morro Bay and San Simeon where Hearse Castle is. So if your baby girl is cute and I'm sure she is then name her Cambria.

umm both names sound... rather... retarded, but HEY.. it's your child, you can name him/her anything you want.. but those names sound kinda embarrassing.. sorry-but u asked (and this is my opinion). I have a friend that's named Shambrea and if it was Cambria, i think she'd get a nick name by me..
