For those who believe ghosts are demons?

I believe that ghosts are the souls of dead people. Some ghosts are damned, and, like the evil spirits, prowl about the earth seeking the ruin of souls. I also believe that "good" ghosts (the spirits of those in heaven or purgatory) can and do appear to people at times. It seems that with those in purgatory it is most often to request our assistance.

I believe demons are demons and ghosts don't exist. If what you mean by "ghosts" is the spirits of people who already died and now are back, so yes, I believe those "ghosts" are nothing but demons, just because they can do desguise themself as so in order to deceive people: "And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light." (2Co 11.14) and because the spirits of dead people are in heaven (Rev 6.9-11) or in hell (Lk 16:19-31; 3:10, 12; 5:22; 5:29; 8:12; 10:28; 13:40-42; 47-50; 18:8-9; 23:33; 25:30, 41, 46).

it could be that some stuff catagoried as ghosts are demons

like poltragist and stuff like that

they scare the people the fear grows and grows and turns them against each other. for instance the husband doest believe it or the parents dont when the kids see it ect.

demons would want you to be scared and fighting with each other. why would a dead human want that? why would a dead human want anything? the dead human part is what doesnt make sence. shouldnt they be off in heaven or hell or just stop or whatever?

that makes less sence that saying it is another life form we know little about.

I personally don't hold that belief. But I have heard it explained this way:

"God does not let there be ghosts. Either disembodied people are in heaven or hell. So ghosts are just demons pretending to be dead people to confuse others."

Well, the bible referes to them as "familiar spirits' so a lot of Christians believe that it's a demon who is 'familiar' with the person they're interpretings looks and even actions. Why would a demon bother to do this, well... a bunch of reasons really. First and foremost it distracts you from God and gets you believing in something that (we believe) doesn't even exist. Secondly, to scare you - demons love to terrify people because it causes all sorts of problems in their lives, such as insomnia - which can effect your life on many levels.

Those who believe in ghosts think that it is the souls of those who have died. But that cannot be as the Bible explains in these verses:(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten.

(Ecclesiastes 9:10) All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going.

(Psalm 146:4) His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; In that day his thoughts do perish.

These are the instructions God gave to his people Israel long ago:

(Deuteronomy 18:9-12) “When you are entered into the land that Jehovah your God is giving you, you must not learn to do according to the detestable things of those nations.  There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer,  or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead.  For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah."

It is not their dead loved ones they are getting in contact with. It is demons impersonating them.

2 Corinthians 11:14 says, "Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light." Satan uses such tactics to blind people to the truth. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4) If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing,  among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.

all together 1000.Angels are all believers and they dont die and they live until the end of universe.Satan are all unbelievers and they dont die also until the end of universe.Humans and demons some of them are believers and some of them non believers and they live only for a while die and born same.

The reason most commonly given is generally because they're strange and creepy. Or maybe because Ghosts don't fit into God's plan.

They're not trapped wondering confused departed souls. I'm sure of that. They are not aliens from a distant planet light years away. I'm sure of that. That leaves the demons who's job it is to deceive.
