Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and beginning April 20th, 2021 (Eastern Time) the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

How do you interpolate to find the answer?

Update:

It has to do with thermodynamics specifically. When you have values that are given or calculated that fall between two known values.

Ex: temps 1 and 2 are 100 c and 105 c and their corresponding pressures are 101.42 KPa and120.9 KPa.

During the course of solving the problem, you calculate a final pressure of 116.4 KPa.

Your goal is to find the final temp that corresponds to 116.4 KPa by using the given and calculated data.

Usually you plot the data you have and draw a line and use that line to get an answer. Your question is too vague to give more than that I'm afraid.
