    In a right triangle, a^2 + b^2 = c^2

    4^2 + x^2 = 8^2

    16 + x^2 = 64

    x^2 = 48

    x = 4sqrt(3) = 6.93

    use a^2 + b^2 = c^2, where a & b are sides, and c is the hypotenuse.

    4^2 + b^2 = 8^2

    simplify.

    16 + b^2 = 64

    b^2 = 48

    b = SQRT(48)
