I'm so thankful my parents were always around. My daddy was the best ever! I know someone who is very important to me dealing with this. I don't know how to help when my parents were never estranged. He hasn't seen his father in about 20 years. His mother & father had a bad divorce & the father moved away. We recently found him; he now has a new wife & 2 other kids. They were talking by phone for a while until the father asked to borrow a large sum of money not stating why! Now my friend will not speak to his father; feeling betrayed & used. The father wants to apologize & continue to speak & even visit (since they haven't seen each other in 20 years). My friend says he is not ready to forgive him & feels there is no father/son relationship there.

Anyone else have an estranged parent come back into your life? How did you deal with it? Was it hard to trust? My friend was around 7 years old the last time he saw his father.

It is a very long song. The first part is sung by a guy talking about his chick cheating on him & he is cussing her.
