is there a better way to clean a toilet? this is how i do it.?
1. Put both lids of the toilet up
And add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him toward the bathroom.
3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close the lid. i usually stand on the lid.
4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds.
the cat is actually enjoys this.
5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a 'power-wash' and rinse'.
6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door..
7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift the lid.
8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, And run outside where he will dry himself off.
9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.
is there a better way or should i keep doing this.

Wow, what a great idea. That is the same way I clean my microwave. The only difference is I first spray the cat with 409 cleaner. FYI....also is good for cleaning the chimney.

Plain old bleach will kill anything in the toilet just pour a cup in the toilet and use a toilet brush to swish it around and let it stand for a while. I like to use comet with bleach too so I can clean under the rim. Comet is green colored I can see exactly where I am cleaning. Cleaning the toilet is not scary--raising teenagers is scary. Good Luck

Hey, that's how I do it! Sorry, that's the only way................:-(
However,as winter is coming, a wet cat may freeze by running outside.
Now if something were to "happen" to your cat, here's an alternate method that is almost as cheap, easy & guaranteed to work:
Flush toilet first. (you know, to remove leftover cat hair.)
Pour clorox bleach in the commode; about 1/2 cup to 2 cups depending on your mood~and of course how long it's been since the cat's had a bath....
Run the brush around the inside, no need to scrub.
Let it sit as long as you like.
Flush, and.............done!

funny, disturbing but funny. try dumping a bottle of coke in and let it sit. you'd be suprised what that stuff will eat away.
