How many Gods are there?

How many Gods are there according to your beliefs?

What about the God(s) of another religion?

Are they just facets of the same God(s) or are they all individually different God(s)?

If there is only one God, how do you explain the Gods in other religions?

If there are multiple Gods, are they (as the ancient Greeks thought) actually just reflections of the same Gods you believe or are they also different Gods?

Do different names for God(s) constitute a different God(s), or just different names/titles/labels?

Are there lesser and greater God(s)? How is that determined?

Are there God(s) that serve other God(s)?

What do you conceive God(s) to be? (beings, consciousness, truth, life, bliss, etc) (i.e. What is God(s)'s nature?)

If your belief system does not include a concrete belief in God(s), does it define a concept of God(s) in it?

If your belief system does not include a belief in God(s), what is the source, the ultimate reality, the ground of being, etc in your belief system?

there is an infinite number of gods. (yeah, I know, only your god is the true one, but let's sidestep that for a minute.) anything that can be worshiped is a potential god-figure. Rocks qualify, celestial bodies, the new camaro, and the lips of my doctor's receptionist could all become gods at one time or another. a belief system does not necessarily require that a god be involved, but it is easier to control adherents to said belief system if a real or imagined god could be upset or angered by transgressions. I personally believe that gods are unnecessary excess baggage. most gods claim that they are omnipotent, which gives rise to the question, why do they need the help of all of their representatives here on earth. I haven't bothered to quote any ancient manuscripts because I believe that the truth of my stated position is evident and self-justifying. homina. homina. homina. praise bob.

All of humanity came from the eight people on the ark. They knew, from their ancestors who God is.

Have you ever played "Chinese telephone"?

As those eight people spread out and populated the earth, they passed on the explanation of God to their offspring. These many people told their stories of creation, man and God and formed many different ancient religions - with similar stories.

Years later, God found a man who still knew the accurate story. God chose him because of that, to father a group of people who would bring the truth to us all.

There is only one God. He made everything that has been made. He is the only one worthy of praise.

There are many gods to whom people give their praise - these are false gods.

God says that if you seek Him, you will find Him.

Seek Him. I cannot make you do it.

In the first place the word GOD is a TITLE only, not a NAME. Like saying "plumber", there are many plumbers. There are thousands of demons/gods.

That's why those who truly believe in the God Of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (a specific God called Yahveh) are separate from all the other deity worshippers. All other deities are simply demons.

None, just a bunch of imaginary God concepts.

One. It's so many religions just to serve one God.

Many gods, or idols, but only one true God.

But, there is a Devil and one of his strategies for deceiving the world is to create false gods in the minds of people who do not accept the true God and thus produce false religions. The real god that those false religions are worshiping is Satan.

In my humble opinion, I believe there is One God, One Love.

People have worshiped thousands of things, tho.

People have worshiped gods with the same legacy but different stories.

I think God is love. I believe god is complete goodness and the creator of everything.
